Kia ora Gabriella, Thanks for teaching me so much about ferrets. I think like many other animals, ferrets were introduced to NZ where they continue to harm our native animals. Stoats and weasels are a big problem too. I am sure ferrets were once kept as pets in England but not sure if that still happens!
